Here is Delours on March 4th, 2009. She has her hair cut shorter since her last year birthday pictures below and we really like it! We think she looks even younger than 95 years!

Delours Long on 2/22/2009 ...her 95th birthday!

Here she is! The matriarch of the Long Family. Delours A. Long. She was born February 22, 1914, to John and Mary Louella Sherwood of Gray Ridge, Missouri, and given the name Delours A. Sherwood. She later married Russell Everett Long and they had three children, Evelyn, Jim and Linda Long. Russell Long went to be with his Lord on November 22, 1963. Delours and her grown children, now Evelyn Locke, Jim Long and Linda Collier are all blessed with children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. We are grateful and thankful that God has blessed our family with good health and a wonderful Christian heritage.

Here she is holding her birthday cake....we didn't put 95 candles on it though...didn't want to start a fire!!

Here's Delours with her children, Evelyn Locke of Poplar Bluff, Linda Collier and Jim Long, both of Dexter. Jim celebrated his birthday on February 8th, but he won't disclose his age!! Evelyn and her husband, Charles, celebrated 56 years of marriage on February 15th.

Let's see.....who's the oldest in this picture? We really don't want you to guess!!

Russ Collier and Jerry Collier, two of Linda's sons, say Happy Birthday to Grandmother Long!

Now four of the great-grandchildren pose for a 'Happy Birthday' picture! Morgan and Alex Collier are Jerry and Pam's children, and Ryan and Garrison Collier are Russ and Suzanne's children. Morgan celebrated her 13th birthday on February 15th.

Ryan and Garrison are on each side of their Great-Grandmother Long.

Ryan, who just celebrated his 6th birthday on February 2nd, asked the blessing before the meal was served.

You can see we have lots of things to celebrate in February. Here are the great-grandkids again with Great-Grandmother Long. Other family members and friends stopped by or sent cards to wish her a "Happy 95th Birthday"!

Now, let's eat some cake!!
